*DESCRIPTION: This is an EARLY, rare, pendant & chain creation from Kenneth Jay Lane.
The set is also MASSIVE!
The EGYPTIAN REVIVAL-themed set features a highly reflective, hammered-effect SCARAB beetle ~5-1/2” long with bail.
The original curb link necklace is also substantial.
The two pieces are completed in thick, gold tone metal.
The pendant’s reverse is texturized.
The chain has a fish hook closure.
This set is not for the faint of heart.
Impressive.

*CONDITION: Excellent with ~1/4” of plating loss on the scarab’s antenna & sides of the pendant unnoticeable on account of the hammering, reflective quality.
The original chain’s closure jump rings are base metal (no plating) & are tarnished.
