*DESCRIPTION: This is a pretty set created by the masters of thermoset & Bakelite plastic costume jewelry, CHAREL.
The pair, in an ART DECO style, features authentic BAKELITE set into reflective SILVER tone (white) metal.
The NECKLACE has fourteen chunky, triangular shaped Bakelite pieces set into FLUTED stations.
The Bakelite pieces look like stylized hearts.
Each fluted station is open back allowing light to show off the green Bakelite.
The Bakelite itself is deep SPINACH GREEN with black marbling (End-of-the Day).
The necklace has a base-metal extender & fish hook clasp.
The CLIP earrings have identical sized Bakelite.
Each, too, is set into a double-fluted station.
Pretty set with a solid weight

*Necklace’s DIMENSIONS: ~16” including extender.
*each EARRING’s DIMENSIONs: ~1-3/8” x 3/4”
*HALLMARK(s): “CHAREL” placard located on the necklace’s reverse.
“CHAREL” is etched on the hook clasp.
Each earring has “CHAREL” etched on its clip clasp closure.
*CONDITION: lovely with the usual old glue stains & metal loss to one of the earring clip unnoticeable when wearing.
The base metal extender & hooks has expected wear.
