*DESCRIPTION: I have never seen a pin like this.
The pin depicts a Chrysanthemum.
Turquoise color, “coral-like” bits represent petals.
They are sewn with acrylic string into the flower’s round base.
The “petals” can be moved around. Fun!
The piece has an “antiqued” metal & black enameling (Japanning) giving it more DRAMA.
The stem & leaves are covered with CHOCOLATE crystals faceted & in two sizes.
The reverse has the same “antiqued” finish.
Such a pretty piece.
