DESCRIPTION: What an awesome piece!
This is a show-stopping necklace.

In the mid ‘90s , AVON commissioned international movie star & icon, ELIZABETH TAYLOR, to designed jewelry inspired by her travels.
There are EIGHT HAMMERED SHIELDS set side by side.
Each shield is thick, wide, & hammered to perfection.
Each piece has the stylized “E” (for Elizabeth, of course).
To give the piece an HEIRLOOM feel, BLACK enameling (Japanning) was applied.
The necklace was created with 22-kt gold tone metal and is HIGHLY REFLECTIVE.
No part of the piece was overlooked.
The substantial chunky chain & TOGGLE clasp have the same rich, gold tone finish.
Lastly, let’s not forget the “hang tag” shield on the chain extender’s end with the signature “E” on both side.
The awesome piece comes with its ORIGINAL box, ROMANCE card, & purple pouch.

*DIMENSIONS: end to end is ~19” length with the CHUNKY, ADJUSTABLE toggle clasp; the CENTER shield ~2-3/8” x 2”
*HALLMARK(s): Stamp of the reverse of the center shield reads “ELIZABETH TAYLOR for AVON”; the original box has the scripted “E.”
*CONDITION: lovely. This is NEW old stock from the mid 90s. The piece includes the pretty LAVENDER box, ROMANCE card, & safety POUCH.
